This is based on the story that Anthony sent to TrulyThai when he married his Thai match in May of 2016.

Anthony's story started when he met Pim through TrulyThai in January of 2014. Anthony was very happy that he met a Thai woman who's very patient with a golden heart and living in an awe-inspiring country. Anthony got interested in Pim's profile as she stated that she loves animals, especially dogs, so he immediately sent Pim a chat message.

They just had casual conversations at first and then their relationship eventually progressed to falling in love. That was when Anthony decided to fly to Thailand and meet Pim. While they spent their time in Thailand, Pim was able to tour Anthony around her beautiful city and it also helped them to know each other more. Pim was happily surprised when she found out that Anthony is a veterinarian from Canada. She got curious with the very first chat she had with Anthony because he sent her a joke that said "you will need to lick the affected area as often as you possibly can" which was a reference to his veterinary work with dogs.

By the time Anthony had to go back to his country, he promised to Pim that they will continue their communication in TrulyThai and he will come back to give her a very special gift. Pim was hesitant and very sad wondering if their long distance relationship would last considering their issue with time zones. It took a lot of work for their relationship to go further. After 2 years, Anthony kept his promise and came back to Thailand to see the love of his life. When he arrived at the airport the first thing he did was knelt down and asked Pim to be his wife and Pim proudly said yes. They tied the knot in May of 2016 and are currently enjoying each other's company as man and wife.

In order to make a relationship work, there has to be a lot of patience and understanding, most especially if you both live on opposite sides of the planet. But then if you're committed to one person, your love can surpass anything. Even distance.

Always look at the bright side of things. You never know that at any moment you could meet your ideal match. Bee started out very hopeless after her major breakup and decided to join TrulyThai to find someone who will be able to open up her doors to love again. She was doubtful at first if she will be able to find a better and committed man for her at TrulyThai. Luck was with her and she met Richard in mid-July 2014, a charming American national.

Bee had just found out that she and Richard were both new members in TrulyThai and he had just also went through a major breakup. Despite their culture and age difference, Bee was very happy that she met a man who understands and loves her unconditionally.

Then Richard came to Thailand to meet Bee personally. The photo above was their very first photo together at Maya Beach, Phuket, Thailand. When Richard went back to America, he promised Bee that he will come back to Thailand very soon. One year later they got married in Thailand and Richard brought Bee to America to live happily together.

I joined TrulyThai to mend my broken heart. I was able to meet many nice guys there but then I met a Richard. A charming American man. We were just the perfect match. We even agreed on the same things, from likes to dislikes. We kept constant communication even though it's hard because of time zones but we were able to get through it. We got married in August of 2015 and we're very happy with each other.

Based on John's message, he was just about to stop using TrulyThai because he thought that no woman would be able to commit to a serious relationship and will all just be hook-ups until he saw Som's profile on the list of users who were currently online in May of 2015. He was captivated by her beauty and decided to give it a try once again so he immediately made contact with her with TrulyThai's messaging feature. John didn't expect that Som would reply instantly. Based on their chats, John describes Som as a very good conversationalist and a genuine and committed woman. Som is a bit of a workaholic but she was able to give time to communicate with John as much as possible.

John is a lawyer from Belgium and Som is an accountant from Thailand. They unexpectedly and happily found out that they shared some common interest as they are both fans of Stephen King's books and love everything about the ocean. He stated that both their jobs were pretty demanding so it was pretty hard to keep constant contact especially when both of them live in different time zones and practically on opposite sides of the planet. John lives in Belgium and Som is in Thailand. John knew that Som was the one for him so he didn't give up on making the relationship work.

After a few months of communication, he visited Som in Bangkok to meet her in person for the first time. His trip to Bangkok went great and he's now engaged to the woman of his dreams. They married in January of 2017 and are currently living in John's home country.

Eric shared that the time he first met Jai on TrulyThai in April of 2014, he felt instant adoration and admiration towards her. Jai was a divorced single mother of a 5 year old girl and Eric was a widower with a 10 year old son. Jai had gone through a most inconsolable time that would be hard for anyone to forget when she was dumped by the father of her daughter about the time when she was about to give birth. Eric lost his wife 4 years ago due to cancer and he thought that he will not be able to move on and be able to provide a mother for his then 7-year old son.

Both of them were unhappy with their lives before they met. When they finally did meet in February of 2013 in TrulyThai, they began to once again feel joy. He travelled to Thailand a few times together with his son to meet Jai and her daughter.

They got the chance to know each other better and Eric was amazed how Jai was a very family-oriented woman. She always put her daughter and Eric's son first before anything else. With that, Eric felt in love even more with Jai and he knew that Jai would be the perfect woman he could grow old with. Eric asked his son if he will consider Jai and her daughter as his new mother and sister. Without hesitation, his son accepted Jai and they tied the knot in front of Jai's family in March of 2015 in Bangkok, Thailand. They are now happily living together with their children in Eric's home country.
